Animal & Gun Policy

Effective 9/01/07 Retail dog & cat sales are prohibited.

CPYS recognizes the need to charge reasonable adoption fees for dogs/cats to help ensure a good home. Adoption fees of $100 or less are fine, but price must be openly stated or the ad will be deleted.

If you list a dog/cat for adoption that is greater than $100 then it will be considered a RETAIL sale and will be flagged by members and removed.

People from sister-sites that do not follow site rules will not just have their ad deleted, but will have their entire acct. deleted from CPYS.

The ONLY guns/rifles that are allowed to be posted on CPYS are pellet/BB or paintball guns. When it comes to "real" guns, there are too many local/state/federal laws regulating gun sales and CPYS would prefer to error on the side of caution than to allow a member to be arrested for accidently breaking a law.
